A few words about

What We Do

Our projects

Our organization addresses the critical need for accessible, compassionate mental health support through a holistic, faith-centered approach.

OUTCOME GOALS WITH MEASURABLE IMPACT

We plan to improve emotional well being among participants, increase access to mental health resources for women, men, and children in the River Region, foster long-term resilience through ongoing support, reduce stigma surrounding mental health in black and other underserved communities, and strengthen partnerships to extend our impact.

SUPPORT GROUP SESSIONS

Peer and professionally facilitated groups for women, men, children, and families, providing safe and brave spaces for emotional healing, skill building, and community connection.

connection to care

We partner with local therapists, advocates, and other organizations to increase access to culturally specific and competent mental health care.

community outreach

Community outreach events and engagement initiatives aimed at raising awareness, reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues in black and underserved communities, and connecting individuals with local mental health and spiritual resources.

education and resources

Workshops and educational programs focused on topics such as trauma recovery, coping strategies, suicide prevention, and mental wellness. Dissemination of educational materials that promote emotional well being, emotional literacy, and the integration of faith in healing.
